These clients still currently have ongoing e-mail problems and issues resulting from an abortion that easycgi called a "migration".
Needless to say this company changed dramatically in 2008.
Many clients were without their website and or e-mail access for WEEKS. Even after certain problems were "fixed" many glitches and bugs were still evident.
When calling tech support and a tech support person named Jose (who can only marginally converse in English) is not concerned about solving your current problem but instead wishes to be argumentative about insignificant details regarding the account in question you know it is indeed time to move on.
In other subsequent contacts with other tech support personnel the basic attitude is that easycgi's incompetence was somehow caused by their customers.

They attempted a migration from one platform to another recently, and are still, NINE days later not up. Over the last nine days they have repeatedly assured me, and several other customers I know (who use their vps product) that the problem would just take "a couple more hours." Nine days does of repeated calls and false promises later, we are furious with them. Prior to the migration, they also experienced short periods of downtime. I would have been better off using time warner services. My advice: to anyone who is seriously considering doing anything business related, DO NOT use Easy CGI. You will be out serious $. Their customer support team remind me of the students who chose wood shop classes. Oh, they are pleasant enough when selling you, but just try on-going support.

All support calls go to a call center. Reps answer the calls but they have no answers. I purchased an MS SQL database. It has not worked since I purchased 3 days ago. ASP.net was never installed prior to my order. Now that it is, it doesn't read aspx files. This is the worst service (next to Mosso.com) that I have ever experienced since I started working with hosts 9 years ago. Oh. Their sales team is very good--watch out for that.
